Paying attention is one of the key points to making sure that you are safe this season.  I can promise that half of the world that is driving in the snow, the reason they might get into a car accident is because they are not paying attention.  Cell phones, radio – everything should be off and your eyes should constantly be on the road and watching the other cars.

You always want to make sure that you are very aware of your surroundings, as many drivers get a little crazy during those winter months and they certainly do not pay close enough attention when merging lanes or even of their speed.

That is something that you will want to pay attention to – your speed and merging, as those are two things that can really cause you to get into an accident.

While you might be stressing out about the upcoming holidays, I can promise you that I am stressing out about the driving in the snow part.  For those of you that live in states that have snow, you are probably already trying to prepare yourself mentally for the drive.  In the new couple posts, we are going to explore some of the best ways that you can prepare yourself and drive safely in the snow!

One thing that you need to remember about snow is that while it might come on hard and stick – it does melt, which is a good thing.  You always want to make sure that whenever you are driving in the snow that you are paying attention. 

This is usually how people get into car accidents, they are not paying enough attention to the road.
